Agenda
This exercise provides attendees with hands-on experience simulating an amine sweetening unit using a variety of common solvents (MEA, DGA, DEA, DIPA, and MDEA). The pros and cons of each solvent are discussed. Attendees will also explore simulating blends of amines, including MDEA+Piperazine for carbon capture, and how to include acidic heat-stable salts in their simulations.
