BRE 500: Special Topic – ProMax Exercise: Compressor Station & Hydrocarbon Allocation

Instructor-led demonstration is followed by hands-on exercises. ProMax will be used in this session, which will take 3.5 hours. The webinar is hosted over WebEx, and information on how to connect to the session will be provided after registration. Agenda

The Compressor Station exercise provides attendees with hands-on experience modeling a compressor station in ProMax with inter-stage cooling and liquid knockout, including using compressor performance curves. The Hydrocarbon Allocation exercise introduces the Mixed Species Concept. Attendees will convert a General Process Model into an Allocation Model. The Scenario Tool is used to study allocation given daily production numbers.
