BRE 500: Special Request – ProMax Exercise: Specifiers, Solvers, User Values

Instructor-led demonstration is followed by hands-on exercises. ProMax will be used in this session, which will take 3.5 hours. The webinar is hosted over WebEx, and information on how to connect to the session will be provided after registration. Agenda

This series of exercises provides attendees with hands-on experience using Simple Specifiers, Simple Solvers, and User Values in ProMax. These tools can be used to automate and optimize process simulations. Simple Specifiers are analogous to feed forward controllers, while Simple Solvers are analogous to feedback controllers. User Values can be used to create and store custom user-created variables and can be used by Specifiers and Solvers. Attendees will use these tools to improve an amine sweetening unit simulation.
