This course covers the gas treating processes involved in sour-laden gas plants and refineries; attendees will learn how to model and optimize Amine Treating Units (ATU), Amine Regeneration Units (ARU), Sour Water Strippers (SWS), Sulfur Recovery Units (SRU), Tail Gas Treating Units (TGTU), Caustic Treating / Mercaptan Oxidation, and TEG dehydration units. This course is specially designed for attendees from gas plants, refinery operators, or engineering companies working on such projects. Prerequisites:

  • Basic process knowledge of gas treating units
  • Simple P&ID and PFD tracing knowledge
